Was shaking real bad and wouldn't get going when throttled up. Everyone at Cal Point could smell the gas when I pulled up.

Well today I hooked up the scuppers to flush the engine since I didn't have time yesterday. About 10 seconds after cranking up, gas started pouring out the cowling. I took off the cover and didn't see anything. Started up again and saw gas spewing from a gas line. It appears that a moving part had rubbed a nasty gash in a fuel line. I will replace the line and put some sort of reinforcement around it. I hope this is all the fix I need.
A piece of old water hose should be about the right size to protect the fuel line.
