Location is key for Calcasieu near Casinos and is a tourist attraction. Heck Hackberry is on the water eith excellent acess to the lake where as Sabine is different. Lot more articles have definitley been done on Cal than Sabine. We choose to shhhhh! alot more. No live shrimp needed!! Sabine can definitley support more guides. There is no fishing lodges left on Sabine. When former Point Pleasant was ran in Johnson Bayou we ran 7-8 boats 7 days a week. Sabine is a good lake and you should come fish it. Results from a trout tourn last week proved it. It took 15lb strongers with 3 trout to make top 5 in tourn. 17.65 won the tourn. 5lb. avg in my opinion is an awesome tourn. Triangletailchasers.com.
