Well that depends; if the other spouse has group coverage available and thier premium will b equal to it less then the current amount payed ( for thier portion of the current coverage) then it is possible.
But the spouse who is an addition to the group plan can file for a "stay" on the insurance until they are able to get on a new coverage. this only concerns the time divorce is filed to divorce is FInAL ;when the divorce is FINAL it automatically kicks them off.
