Nate your boat already porpoises when u start getting up in speed. U need the weight up front to help that. Taking the batteries out the front will not help with getting more speed unless you get trim tabs to tab the front of the boat down when u get the stern lifted more.

My boat does the same thing as yours, when I add weight up front I can trim the motor up more and get a couple more mphs. I took that extra battery out and have been running one, but thinking about adding one to the bow to help that problem.
