Paddling I would recommend the 12' over the 10'. The 12 will track better and be easier to paddle. Which two are you interested in? PnP in Lafayette will do a free demo of any boat that they have in store. Everyone I talk to I always recommend trying out different kayaks before buying one. Also talk to others that have different models and try to get the pros and cons of each boat because there isn't one Perfect kayak. I have the Cuda14 and I love it, but it isn't for everyone.
