I agree 100%. Supposedly that is a federal mandate because the existing signs aren't reflective enough. Whatever. Replace just the sign. Reuse the existing posts and concrete. Besides, my wife is rank and file with the Department of Health and Hospitals Medicaid. She has had only one cost of living raise in 4 years, and twice the work load as she had then. No pay raises for state rank and file is really gonna balance their budget? Horse puckey! Cutting the pay of one or two legislaters or top ranking state execute managers will compensate the loss of pay of probably 10 to 20 wage earners. Punishing the rank and file for executive misspending just ain't right and certainly doesn't fix anything.
