David Thibodaux joined me again for a trout trip. Our first stop had trout coming in every-cast on double rigged Matrix Shad. Most of the trout were 11.5 inches. We left them biting in search of bigger fish. We started focusing on reefs with Endura shrimp and the Green Hornet Matrix Shad under a cork. Keeper trout started coming in the boat. We didn't stay in one location long as I wanted to cover some ground to fish as many areas we could in the time we had. We found trout at every stop. Most of the fish on the reefs were keepers. The trout are definitely showing their presence on the inside waters. Shrimp are every where. Good time as always David, looking forward to our next trip.
We bow fished a few nights ago and had shrimp bigger than our hands all over the bottom of the boat.
