A lawyer friend who doesn't hunt much asked if they were legal to shoot. Gave him the green light and he went to town -12 dead coots. Gadwalls and widgeons love coots. I have watched the coots dive under in deep water and come up with some widgeon grass. The Gadwalls move in for a share. Fun to watch.
