Woke up at 3:30am and decided it must mean that I need to go fishing so, I hooked up and, rolled out to Delacroix for a day of relaxation. The winds were soft to none at all the entire day! First stop was in Lake Amedee. Second cast was a fish and, topwater at that! Way exciting to see. Unfortunately, the only other boat in the whole lake was excited by the site as well so, they motored within 10' of where I caught the fish. Moved on and had several more blowups on top and, switched to Gulp to hopefully get a better recovery rate since I rarely get to go fishing.

Every stop had instant action! EVERY SPOT! Unfortunately, since 11 3'/4" isn't a legal fish, I didn't get to keep many. I'd had a limit by 10, if so!!

I didn't take any pics because, really, who wants to see ten 13" fish but, I had a great day on the water for sure!
