As far as how to fish it. If the current is pretty strong like it was last couple of trips, after you cast out, let it sink to the bottom and reel in the slack and just tightline it. You'll feel your weight bouncing along the bottom as the current pulls it. Just make sure you keep a tight line and you'll feel the bite. I actually caught 24 of the 26 fish the other day on the same treble hook and only lost 2 split shot fishing over an oyster reef. This setup works great, keeps your bait suspended off the bottom and rarely gets hung up. I find this setup is much better than a Carolina rig. You can buy the 3-way swivels at Academy.
