x's 2 on this, if you are a half decent bass fisherman, you can kill the reds around LaFitte with the cast and retrieve method in the Marsh. Gold Spoons, Cocahoe Minnows with a Spinner, White Spinner Baits, Baby Minus..... jsut about anything for a bass outside of worms will work for Reds. I have caught a redfish on a worm in Dularge Before though.
Another good thing abut Lafitte is that you can run to North Side of Lake Salvador and catch catfish or run a little further to Lake Cataouche and fish Sac Aux Lait and Perch along with Bass. That's a relly good area to have camp.
