Well guys, I've been on the water and it was "catching" instead of "fishing" at least for the firat day.
Took a customer out on Thursday and fished the rocks along Lake Boudreaux and it was on. First cast was at 6:30 and we were done by 8:00.
That evening, my wife and kids made it down and the fishing turned off for Friday morning. Alternate plan.....crabbing!
We hen pecked around and they finally started biting late afternoon. They were happy and ready to go back!
We are ready for the trout run!
