There's a few guys that have been running Best Step from Sears in their rigs and says it's identical to Hydroturf for a fraction of the price. The only downside is it's only available in black. Academy also has a product in the fitness section that looks identical also. I believe it's BCG brand. They can all be applied with 3M spray adhesive.
