quick question: I finally got to use my PP for the first time last week. Couldn't be happier. Only question I have is how does one know how far to "stick it". The first time I tried it was at the landing and I apparently stuck it so deep, I had to rock the boat back and forth to get it up. No problems after that, but I'm just curious. I'm guessing that the depth finder has a lot to do with how far one can expect to stick it, but is there some other method to know how far down one has to stick it or just experiment until the amount of depth appears to halt the boats progress. Just looking for tips.
