What he said. Though I wouldn't go with a 4000 size reel unless you chase a lot of bull reds. We catch a lot of bulls on 3000's and only come close to getting spooled once in a while, but a 4000 would give a bit more margin for error. You are giving up some casting distance with a 4000 compared with a 3000 and there are times in the marsh when you really want the extra casting distance of a 3000.
