now if you are 50 or 60 years old the savings isn't that great but its still something worth doing the math on.

I can agree that there are some savings... my point was that it takes a LONG time to get your money back on just the lifetime fishing license so it's not quite as much of an enticement.
Also, if you really want to do math, at age 60 you can buy a $5 sportsmans license which covers everything... or at age 60 you can buy a lifetime combo license for $50
