I went with a coworker a few times who does it pretty regularly. Can't help you on where to go but you wanna set up facing where you think they'll be coming from to minimize movement. They are keen. We were using baby jack rabbit or rabbit in distress one time and had a doe come out pissed as hell bucking and everything. It was something to see. I think he uses just three of the calls on it. I think you'd be better off with an electronic one
