It's funny that I saw this. Just shot my first "real" skeet shoot today along with my son. He had never shot skeet before and I had only done the backyard with your buddy thing. It was a fundraiser for the Kiwanis club. You can't hardly spend a more fun day with your son.
It was their first event and even though there were two certified referees there I saw a lot of what "I call" unsafe gun handling. Breeches were open but I saw plenty of muzzle sweeping. Breech open or not you control your muzzle. Do that in uspsa and you are disqualified instantly.
It is a fun sport and know my wife wants to try it
