It depends greatly on what ya gonna do with it and how much ya wanna spend. The kitchen aid attachment is defiantly good for small jobs. I have a Waring pro. It is great for small jobs but ya can't crowd it ya can bog it down but it works good for turkey cheese:

But big stuff I go over to a friends house with one of those big Cabella grinders. My podnah Smokin Sam da smoke house guy got one ya couldn't bog down with a fence post. Its there we do da big jobs. My advice buy a small one for your stuff and amke friends with some one with a big hawkin high horse power one for those rare big jobs.
