Saturday morning a couple good ole boys joined me to scratch off an item on their bucket list. Mr. Jim and Mr. Ricky from Birmingham Alabama came down for a 3 day tour of Louisiana sampling everything we have to offer from good food, swamp tours, bass fishing and finally trout fishing! The guys had never caught a speckled trout in their life and are getting up in age. They teamed up and came down to Dularge to do it! At first light we started catching and they excitedly said "That was too fast!" Well, lets catch more I said! The guys were tickled pink catching all the fish themselves and when the bite shut down at 8:30, they wanted to take a tour of the marsh. I took them to the Bayou Saveur marsh and just rode around taking it all in. The guys were in heaven enjoying their time in the great outdoors! We called it a day and headed for the barn at 11:00!
