"The WLF Commission voted unanimously yesterday morning to reject the new Federal Regs on recreational Grouper and AJs. In other words, they will not adopt Federal regulations inside our state waters. While it will make no real difference to the actual fishing (nobody catches grouper or AJs in LA state waters) it does send a strong message that we are no longer willing to accept bogus regs based on bad data, especially when no consideration was given to recreationals in the crafting of the regs in the first place.
