We averaged just a little less 1.5 specks per gun per hunt. That's counting for all our blinds including the first 4-5 hunts at Bunkie where we, being my unskilled partners except for opening day, only killed a couple of specks. Specks = the good news.
Although I didn't take the time to do the math on snows and blues we actually killed more per hunt on average than we did specks. But as you know we might not kill any one hunt and 2-3 per person the next hunt.
Ducks = terrible overall. We did have some really good hunts particularly in the second split. But overall counting Bunkie which was really bad this year, I didn't do the math because like Aubrey I didn't want to cry!!
How ironic that this year I leased out a blind in the marsh that I hunted for the last 9 years and the guys killed over 650 ducks out of it....
