Been getting out a little bit since the first week of february blew us out. The fishing has settled into the winter pattern a little bit with 100 pound tuna coming in on a regular basis and wahoo here and there on the inshore rigs. The blackfins are generally everywhere from 250-400 ft of water biting on jigs and chunks.

Mostly using 80 pound flouro leader but theyve been aggressive enough a few times to use 100 pound leader which makes it nice if you hook a big one.

The wahoo are mostly biting on bombers and russellures. The blue mackeral has been the hot color on bombers and the purple russellure has been the ticket on the long bait

one day the wind kicked up but they still wanted to go and we got into the lanes pretty good. Put 60 of them in the box by 1030 in the morning then went out after ajs but they werent too cooperative as we only put two of them in the boat.
