Samarai braid 20lb(diam fo 4lb mono). Smoothest braid out there, but kinda pricey. Don't have to change it hardly ever. When it starts to fade, I take it off and put it back on the spool the other way. There, fresh new line!!! I also use a 20lb floro leader. Use a barrell swivle too..........Those line to line knots are a pain on the water!!!
