As a guide W, you've got a huge advantage (besides knowledge) of being on the lake consistently and being able to try 3-5 different baits at a time with the clients until you find what they want.

Having three or four jacklegs "testing" different baits is of a negligible advantage at best IMO. Most people I bring need several hours to ramp up to being close to serviceable anglers.
