Default 4/19/15 Father/Son Outing

As fisherman we sure do complain about the weather a lot and today was no different! It seems the weather guessers have trouble keeping up with April winds and storms. Anyway, conditions deteriorated rapidly early this morning making it questionable to fish for trout. But patience got the best of me and I persisted south. We arrived on location with horrific swells and winds gusting to 30 mph. Still, we hooked a few trout! Not wanting to suffer any longer, I ran to a protected area and waited. In due time, conditions changed as expected. The sun showed itself and the winds subsided leaving in their wake starving speckled trout. I had a father/son team on board today for a little QT. I put them on the fish and let them do their thing, quietly sitting back and letting them enjoy their day. Around noon the guys said they'd had enough and tipped their hats to the ferociously biting speckled trout and thanked them for the days harvest.

For your outing, give me a call!
