I heard the good and the BAD HORROR stories about that weir. People that went through there were fine no problems at all and other busted a hole in the side of their boat. If it was a rubber bumper i would go through it.
Don't get me wrong I would try but the 1 thing thats stopping me is that chrome piece around the lip of the boat! The first time you (hit/slide against/bump) the sides of that weir it's coming off.
On another note let me know how it goes if you decide to go through.
