and what would be the ideas of "stocking" the bayou like the recently did else where, cant remember exactly where they did it, but i remember seeing that they released like 100k bass in a river system somewhere to try and bring them back...
what would be your thoughts on something such as this on the bayou?
i am not real familiar with the bayou, but as far as i know barely any bass are caught there. unless there is a secret that i am not aware of....

When I was a child back in the 60's and into my teens in the 70's I saw plenty of sac-a-lait pulled out of Lacassine Bayou by Murphy Cormier, "Blanco" Bourgeois, Clyde DeRouen, and probably the best of them all..."Cobby" Landry. Cobby, Blanco and Murphy all had camps south of Lorraine Bridge and fished the bayou several days a week. Clyde fished with them but was also a great bass fisherman, taking several over 5 lbs. and one over 6 on a fly rod. They knew how to fish it in just about any conditions. I think that is the trick. Get out there and learn it. I have fished it over the years and have done pretty good on sac-a-lait but never like these guys did.
