I'm considering a 2001 22' Champion with a 2008 Yamaha 150 2 stroke with low hours. The motor has been owned buy my cousin since new and the boat has had the transom replaced with composite by Olmsted Shipyard. It is a rolled gunnel boat with a tunnel and a manual jack plate. My question is about getting it setup right with the correct prop because it cavitates when turning. It has a Mercury Vengence stamped 17p and measures about 141/2" to 15". I know it only has that prop because he got it cheap from someone.
