Jon & Andrew Delahoussaye, and Phil & Alex Guilbeau jumped onboard the big Bluewave today. We headed for the trout grounds and found them stacked up. They could not resist our double rigged Matrix Shad, and ate them up like there was no tomorrow!!! All of our guides are catching on Matrix Shad lures everyday. There is truly no need for live bait, unless that's just your style of fishing. Most of the fish today hit the lures as soon as they hit the water, and some hit them as they were drifting. Numerous doubles as the fish were in a big feeding frenzy. Good and easy as it gets today and my crew had a blast experiencing this bite. We stuffed the K2 to the top and headed into the lodge to clean fish. Just a lil drizzle today as we stayed dry pretty much all morning.
