Yeah, if you are hunkered down in the blind and don't have the call above the top of the blind it will echo. Some blinds are worse than others. Mine is horrible so I just make sure I am well covered when I am calling because I can't get down in the blind. I would say the best place to point the call is any place you are not producing an echo and staying hidden. Specks see EVERYTHING.
