Yeah, my mom lost her eyesight and now I need to prep her house for the market the first week of the new year. She moved into a home. Good on you for being with your mom while she's sick.
The last has some fish in it year round. Just gotta go find the structure and depth they are on. it can very this time of year... especially since it's been a relatively warm fall. Go hunt them up and think like a fish to find them... they won't be far from food (baitfish or shrimp).
