Not sure the problem your having but I had one low on freon last yr and ended up just replacing/ upgrading it. Cost around 800-900 for unit with new inside cover and took me and my dad less than an hour (4 screws and unplug connection).... got price off adventurerv.net and southern mobile home/ rv matched it.
