Just a fair warning to not get your hopes up too high (hate to be Debbie Downer), but you will be basically tied up tightlining with a bunch of other boats. Kinda like fishing the weirs. (You can see that in the pics above) Went and did a night trip in Islamorada (Bud n Marys marina) and the tarpon guides get the scraps from the offshore boats and go out about 300 yards from the marina and dump them in same spot everyday to attract them. Then you go sit and tightline for them. It was fun dont get me wrong, but it wasnt what I expected I guess. The bait was dolphin bellies and we literally motored 300 yards from the marina.

We did that one night and then the next day drove down a few miles and there is a dock where you can buy cigar minnows and handfeed 100+ lb tarpon
