I know I'll probably get hammered for thinking that way, but so be it. I think it would make this place much safer. Right now as long as you have a driver's license, you can buy what you want.

Evidently you haven't purchased many guns (and this isn't a bash) . A gun cannot be purchased and shipped to your house unless you possess a Frderal Firearms Licence. And if you go to any gun shop to purchase a gun you must fill out a background check that includes most of the things you mentioned, the only thing im not sure about is DUI. In my opinion a ban on guns would make it more dangerous and not safer. There is NO way the thugs and criminals will get rid of their guns, they will be the only ones with guns!! Coach P doesn't have his facts straight and should stick to football. Not a bash, just my opinion.
