You must be talking about Mr Craig. I met him a few weeks ago and we were talking fishing and he told me the same thing.

I tell people about gafftops all of the time and they wrinkle their nose.

Trust me, if we are catching trout and reds, they are going back in the water, but on a slow day, them gaffs are hitting the ice. There is no more prep, cutting the red meat out, etc, than on a blue cat the same size.
