Day one with Inolect was a complete success. The crew showed up last night and Chef Shawn P had boiled up some shrimp and jumbo crabs. Talk about good!! Cold beverages and good times were had. We woke up early to find it to be dead calm....Finally!! With the calm wind and seas the trout responded, even though the water was dirty. Double rigged Matrix Shad went to work right away and the specks were flying over the gunnel of the Bluewave. We got on a good run early, then the bite slowly tapered off. By 9:45 the bite went dead, the K2 cooler was full and my customers had big smiles. We rolled back to the lodge to clean fish and let the customers relax.
