We stopped by to fish for a minute by the can, and some kids in a 00'-02' black chev 4x4 crew cab came by haulin butt. Not sure what the deal was but the didn't linger down by the ramp very long.

I was down there today also...fished Conway Bayou and kept 9. First time in a while that I launched at Burn Out Bridge because of the vandalism that does occur there from time to time. Most of the time I just drive the extra few miles to Orange and launch either at the Simmons St. launch or at Lotties in Orange Cove...aka "da Cove". If you
launch in Texas just remember even though you are fishing on the LA side you mush abide by the Texas regulations for the lower Sabine River. 8 bass with a 12 inch minimum size. Also if you catch Redfish the limit is 3 between 20 and 26 inches. Also, in Texas all of Orange County is considered below the freshwater line so if you are checked, like I have been, be sure to have your saltwater endorsement.
