CALM WIND ? WARM WEATHER ? LIVE BAIT RESULT IN CATCHING FISH
Last week was the best week we have had this spring in terms of catching fish. Good solid trout as well as lot of redfish were brought to the cleaning table most every day. Some 4 and 5 pound trout were caught on both artificial bait and live shrimp. One of Guide Raymond Little?s crew on Saturday smacked a beautiful 7 pound trout and released it back to fight again. Best artificial was baits was MirrOdine?s 17MR-808 Suspending Twitch bait and their soft plastic Lill? John rigged under a cork with a light lead head. Live shrimp (when available was the best) but very hard to get most days. Live shrimp should be more plentiful as we get later in the season.
