Outboard are simple, if you use them. That E-10 crap is the enemy, not the moisture.
I had a 200 Merc. for almost 14 years and never had an issue with winter time. But I never let her set up more than a month or so at a time.
I did vote Excellent for this thread. You don't find a lot of good info. like this just anywhere.

My boat is normally used every couple of weeks [or more often] all year long.....so no need to "winterize" it.
