This thread is making me homesick, our Pensacola eastbay oysters (deamed the best in the world), I sh*% u not lol, went away since the BP fiasco. Local oyster supplies say it's just a natural 15yr cycle but who knows?
I disagree w/ "best in the world", BIG OL' La salty oysters are bar none, the best I've ever had.
Suck em' up, cook'em well and be thankful for what you have in your own backyard!
