It's not as much the call but who is behind the call that makes the sound. A Stadavarius in my hands will never sound as good as when in the hands of a classically trained violinsts, same as any call. Not too sure you have to blow the most expensive call to get ducks or geese down in your face.
Remember, it's all about location, location, location. Maybe, I'll take a kids kazoo to Nodak and see how many of those ducks and geese I can get to commit in Sept. You are falling for the marketing when splitting hairs as fine as tones on calls.
