I have been busy fishing a lot so no time for reports. Both Me and Capt Mike were on the fish in october on the shrimpers although that run is tapering off. The big fish should be still at the floaters through the end of the year willing to eat live hardtails, mullet or chunks. Most of the fish we have been catching on the boats have bit live bait recently but a few did fall to chunks. The average fish has been 120-150 pounds. Mike Pittman got some awesome footage on the go pro and I just have a snapshot of it for now. He had 5 fish rolling through his slick during this footage.

The amberjack bite has been a little off due to stupid three foot long brown sharks eating everything in the water whenever they would leave us along we would cactch ajs. Whoever says we have a shark shortage needs to study them stupid things.

Most of the bites on the shrimpers have come off shrimpboat bycatch or live hardtails

We did get one real nice scamp on an anteater jig altough I didnt fish the rigs much due to staying on the shrimpers

Fishing patterns are about to get back to normal with rig fishing for tuna and topwaters and jigging back on the menu as well as the always popular hardtail

I will be back out this weekend to chase tuna down and hopefully run into some open water tuna on pogie balls or mullet schools.
