X2, Tx. boys like, first and foremost, running in skinny water. My brother lived in Aransas Pass area and that was all he and his friends talking about, i.e. how shallow could they go?

The thing I noticed right away was that with the bait well/ice chest in the rear, that seems to have pushed the console forward a bit and as we all know, in rough water, the farther back you are, the better the ride.

If I was to test ride this, I would want to go out in the roughest water I could find to see both how dry it is and how it handles the waves. Good luck with you decision.
