5 days straight worth of fishing will be quickly summarize. IFA Redfish tour Chalmette was held this past weekend. Fished hard from Tuesday to Thursday. Found awesome fish from Dela Croix to Venice, Opt'd to go to Venice (95 miles one way). Caught a 16.13lb stringer on day 1 good enough for 23rd out of 101 boats and just 1.3lb out the lead. Day 2 Popti max died on us 20 miles into the run, got stranded in the MRGO still fished and managed 5.5lb flounder, 5.30lb red, a bunch of trout and more yonks than I can ever deal with. Because we had a wrapped boat, we kept 4 boats around us all day. They didnt know we were broken down. Dropped from the standing from 23rd to 59th and a disappointing season finale. Caught awesome fish that had us excited and partner won a new trolling motor at the raffle. Here's the pictures.
