I have them in , the thickets around my feeders. I think they hand in the thickets waiting on the feeder to go off.

I believe that the deer don't spend time there like they do at feed trees. At a feed tree they have to break open the acorn, sometimes, browse around, find good acorns, etc. At a feeder they come in "gobble up" the corn and move on.
