I used to live not far from there, up near the Kirwin Wildlife refuge, was incredible the amount of birds in that area. Used to get so thick weather radar would pick them up, especially in around the Platte river near Kearny.
All I went after were pheasants, quail and rarely deer hunted. Miss those days.
