[SIZE=3]Family day on the DU for the Belanger crew. Brandon Belanger and his 3 sons Brock,Brody, and Brady joined me on the big Blazer Bay. Our intention was to get these youngsters on some fish! We loaded up with bait crabs and off we went looking for reds & drum. The reds were pretty elusive but the blackdrum were plentiful everywhere we fished. We couldn’t get away from the drum and the kids ate it up. We worked over the inland marsh fishing numerous locations and I think the boys liked riding in the boat as much as the fishing. Brandon certainly has these guys headed in the right direction as I can’t think of a better place than the great outdoors for a family outing! The crew had a blast reeling in puppy drum and big drum up to 30 lbs! The looks on the faces of the kids says it all! Good luck fishing.[/SIZE]
