Fished 6:30a-3:30p.
Caught 15 bass (some as long as my middle finger), 2 redfish (both just under legal) and a few bream. Kept some to stock up for winter frying.
Launched at the Theriot Rd. boat launch and fished the area. Had not been there in at least 20 years (though I have fished out of White Oak Park and West Fork areas).
I was surprised at how many laydowns I DID NOT find. It seems so clean compared to the West Fork and Sabine Rivers. Seemed odd.
