specksndasurf was having same issues with his BPS last few weeks. His extractor(or whatever it is) wasn't grabbing his shell when he would pump it. It's pretty old. Pretty funny watching him pump his little heart out trying to get that shell out.
That guy you are talking about might have the same issue.
